Coming back to the Leo-Oscar discussion - sure, it was a great perfomance, but good like Daniel Craig-as-Bond good or Harrison Ford-as-Indiana Jones good, but with more emotional depth. He's brilliant, but his performance will not stand ou more than the film itself, and so I don't think he'll win. But I think that he will get nominated, after all, he got a nom for Blood Diamond, which was an action film essentially. Jeremy Renner got a nom for The Hurt Locker, which was also a good performance but not as appealing to pig headed twats like the Academy when there are people like Colin Firth around.

These ads look amazing! I hope Inception can bag a few Globes atleast. It would be a pity if a movie as well made as this didn't get any. Fingers crossed...

Considering Avatar won best picture last year, Inception has a good chance of bagging some GGs...and it better.

LOL. Michael Caine for Best Supporting Actor? He isn't William Hurt - he can't get a nom for 2 minutes of screen time.

Leonardo might get nominated for Shutter Island, similar to how he was nominated for Blood Diamond and not The Departed. As for the other acting noms - I suppose Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Cillian Murphy would be long shots, and maybe Marion Cotillard.

Best Picture is almost a lock at this point, but the bigger one will be Best Director. If Nolan is snubbed again, there will be rioting in the internet streets.
