Threatened? By what? He hasn't done anything in a while, Nolan poses no threat to someone who has nothing to really lose.

Landis has done great work in his day and he's really funny. He makes valid if not very obvious points here. Very obvious.

I like how people just look at Inception as "a movie about entering people's dreams" and think it's like films like Paprika, Dreamscape, The Cell ,etc.

It's not like those films at all. It's like saying Mullholand Drive is similar to any murder-mystery film. Just because it's about going into someone's mind doesn't make it like those films AT ALL.

It's absurd that people are actually questioning the originality of Inception. Yes, there are bits and pieces that are borrowed from other places, but the film AS A WHOLE is completely original.
