How does inception explore the dimension of sound?

I'm doing an essay on inception and I need to make it longer.
Also how has the designer used sound to communicate meaning?? Thankyou!!! :D

By using the first song to reverberate through the layers. It creates meaning for the characters in not only a way to move and connect plot but also in a thematic sense for Cobb. "No I regret nothing." It's a way to string together the dreams and different realities into one larger piece. It also signals the audience to wake up at the end.
