people always say movie that has too many "ingredient"(elements) tends to end up badly, but for me if those ingredients is in the hand of a great cook(Nolan), they will be combined to make a dish of all time lol

I agree.Robin wrote:I wouldn't call it a review either. Just a rating and some random thoughts - but still a great start.
HAHAH dying of excitement.
It is nice to see a rating, but really, it isn't even the full review
Looking forward to the 24th (and beyond)
... For some reason a part of me is screaming "PLEASE GOD... LET EVERY REVIEW BE PERFECT!"

haha. Given the mindfuck aspects of this movie, I won't be surprised if it has plenty of detractors. Prestige wasn't heavily praised by critics overall. I expect the same thing with Inception.

Now that we have gotten plenty of footage, I tend to disagree. It doesn't look like a mindf*** at all. Just some different concepts and innovative ideas. Im just confused. Some people are saying it will be linear. Nolan said he wasn't trying to make it complicated. Now this guy is saying "to smart for its own good".redfirebird2008 wrote:Armandhammer wrote:I agree.Robin wrote:I wouldn't call it a review either. Great start for reviews!
And Leo said it's a twists and turns movieArmandhammer wrote:Now that we have gotten plenty of footage, I tend to disagree. It doesn't look like a mindf*** at all. We'll see
So far the only person who has said it isn't complicated is Nolan. Everyone else is saying it's complicated. DiCaprio said it's complicated. Murphy and Watanabe both admitted they were confused when they read the script. Travers has seen it and is calling it too smart for its own good at the box office. Kris Tapley at InContention has talked to someone who has seen it and said the movie has "a demanding plot that’ll lose you early if you’re not paying attention." Nolan's idea of complicated probably isn't the same as everyone else's idea of complicated. Just saying.Armandhammer wrote:

Funny thing, is he seems to like the complexity. He's just worried that other people won't.
