Imagine. Kevin Spacey as Scytale.
Hmm... Kevin Spacey as another conspirator...

I would assume maybe 2-3 months after the release and all the hype has simmered down a bit, we'll at least hear offers and considerations of new projects. I'm actually more intrigued and interested in seeing what his next project will be more than anything. Will he continue the mega blockbuster films or return to the more intimate films like Following, Memento and The Prestige? Can't wait to find out.

I agree. This is maybe the only reason I am looking forward to post TDKR. I am going to miss his Batman like crazy. Still, I am definitely curious as to what he has coming next. In all honesty, I do not see him going back to Memento and Prestige type films. Someday, yes, but he seems to be at his peak now and I feel it will be a while before he does that. I am okay with that though, I just really hope his next film does A LOT more for me than Inception did. Inception is my only real disappointment with him. Still, I know he is very creative and filled with great ideas so I am not worried that because I did not like his last movie that it is all down hill from here. Even Ridley Scott made GI Jane...
I would rather see him not do the Howard Hughes bio adaption and do something more original, but if that is what he does next I will surely give it a chance. One problem though, Wally is going to be making his directorial debut. If Wally is busy with that, it could mean that we wont have any Nolan related stuff until whenever that is finished, unless Nolan wants to try somebody new. That would be kind of exciting
