That's just a joke, right? Unless we assume he has been reborn or something.
I personally don't want to have a next Batman Reboot or any Batman movie for at least the next 10 years to come. There'll probably be one though, but then I'll be watching it just to make fun of it.

There is no doubt that Christopher Nolan will have a major influence over were the Franchise goes next. These are the directors who I think will realistically be considered to re-invent the franchise after Nolan's trilogy:
Duncan Jones (Up-and-coming character-driven director)
Brad Anderson (Has proven a knack for taught, atmospheric thrillers)
Darren Aronofsky (If he forgets about that Year One BS)
Alex Proyas (Less appealing choice after his recent efforts)
Nicolas Winding Refn (Promising)
Matt Reeves (Genre director who might find a great formula for Batman)
David Fincher (Fitting choice, but would never even consider it)
Alfonso Cuarón (Ambitious dare-to-be-great filmmaker)
Mark Romanek (Subtle and stylish director... not too mainstream either)
Frank Miller/Robert Rodriguez (Translated Sin City to the silver screen flawlessly)
Chan Wook Park (Edgy, unique, powerful, my first choice)
Jee-woon Kim/Joon-ho Bong (Other Korean directors who could bring the franchise in exciting new directions)

Nicolas Winding Refn, Matt Reeves, Duncan Jones or Neil Blomkamp.
Mark Romanek would be great. Now that Nolan is working with his best buddy Keith Gordon I guess its not that far fetched either. A Romanek film with Nolan as producer (and maby co-writer) would kill.
