There should be a number of characters to act as suspects. Not necessarily all of these but possibly the likes of Hush, Riddler, Calendar Man, Hugo, Zsasz, Falcone crime family, Penguin. Even Alfred and Bruce should be suspects in a murder case Gordon is trying to unravel.
Yeah agreed. I want to see Batman's full on detective skills, and Fincher would be perfect for it. He's out of the question though because he'll never work with WB.

Chris Nolan gives some advice to whoever will end up directing the reboot:
The only advice I would have is that ... when I first met with Paul Levitz of DC Comics prior to Batman Begins, he explained to me clearly that Batman, of all superheroes, has thrived on reinterpretation and almost is strengthened by it. And I'm talking about over the years in the comic books but also in the movies. So when the time is right, whenever someone does whatever the next iteration of the character is, they simply need to be true to whatever it is they want to see, to what they believe in, not worry too much about what everyone else is telling them it should be.

Cinebasher.com wonders if Jonathan Nolan will take up the duty of directing "Batman 4"

I am aware that this article represents great speculation, but it is an intriguing proposal.
Still, I would not mind Darren Aronofsky directing the sequel. Conformist opinion, I know.

A new Batman, just after the end of his trilogy? This is an insult! :brick:
Syncopy Productions needs to grow fast so that Nolan can realize what he wants.
I agree with absolutely every word you said. Either that, or Nolan should just take over WB and rename it Nolan bros lol.
Hey, the guy has given WB so much money, I bet if he actually proposed that they would have a meeting about it
I agree and Nolan Bros would be a complete win, haha.
Seriously, Chris should stay far away from this reboot thing. And there shouldn't even be a reboot. Don't ruin this precious trilogy!

I'm just tired of this stup :silent: reboot thing. Warner thinks that they will continue making money out of this new Batman but they don't realize that maybe, Nolan and the cast are the good ones. I'm completely angry for this.

It's bound to happen, but we are allowed to vote with our dollar, and I think there are a lot of Nolan fans out there. At the midnight showing of TDKR, people started to cheer when the Syncopy logo came on for The Man of Steel trailer. It's impossible for the next Batman film to reach the box office numbers that the Dark Knight Trilogy did, but it's entirely possible for the next Nolan film to reach close to those numbers.

Man, this is like in the 90s when it was the best time to be a Star Wars fan. Everyone wanted a Prequel trilogy, rumors flying everywhere. I really do want to see a Batman film with John Blake as Batman or some sort of 'Batman like' character.
