According to Jonathan Nolan, Chris was once interested in doing a comedy and told him about it during the same car ride to LA where they first discussed the idea for Memento.

Obviously that was a long time ago, so I’m not sure if Chris would be interested in doing a comedy anymore (especially considering his most recent remarks on the topic were about how difficult it would be), but still interesting. Very curious to know what the idea was.
