The Films Nolan should direct

He should definitely do at least one Bond film.

He should definitely work with Bale again, preferably on another magician film. The magician genre fits Nolan's style so perfectly, I personally think he do another couple of magician films, which would complete a trilogy of such films, the first being The Prestige.

He should do a film based solely on time travel.

I could see him directing a Jack Ryan film.

Also, I would love to see him direct a film about Nikolai Tesla.

Stephen King's Doctor Sleep adaptation... Nolan, after Kubrick, just imagine.

Haven't read that yet. How does that compare to The Shining?

I want him to do a dark and very funny crime mystery/spy film with lots and lots of cursing in different regional accents and unexpected scenes of brutal violence while still keeping his style. Maybe an odd tit or two.
An odd combo like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy meets In Bruges. Would be a good show of range as well just being simply awesome.

Or simply, something dramatic and sharply satirical like Sweet Smell of Success meets Network.

A worthy follow-up, although completely different in tone, and character. I loved it all the way and felt like it's an instant movie material - naturally directed by (my first choice) David Fincher or Chris...

Funnily enough, he casts Marion Cotillard as his wife.

A movie about a guy who enters a labyrinth just to plant corn, but gets lost.

The film is basically the dude crying on his crops for two hours and looking forlornly into the camera.

Nolan will call it The Maize.

He also cries about not being an astronaut.
