Wally Pfister and Hoyte van Hoytema
After his film Transcendence with mixed reviews, what do you think he will do next? Back to DP with Nolan or another director or could he return to the directors chair? I think he will continue directing.
What do you guys think? Do you still trust him directing after Transcendence or do you give him another chance?

He should do a season of True Detective.
I'll say that I don't think the directing was the real issue with Transcendence. Pfister didn't do many things that I thought were particularly impressive, but he didn't really do anything bad either.
The script was shite and that's the main problem there.
That being said, it's been almost a year and a half and we've got no word. Hmmm...

Seriously, when is he going to be the DOP of a film again? It's been five years.
he said he's only directing now, and i think he's happy with that
it's just disappointing - i think he's a much better cinematographer than director

I wonder if he ever directs another movie again. I think if he does he should do a small scale movie
