I would like to know too. But after seeing the film, it was beter not to have Jon´s involvement.

How do you know that? For all we know he could have drastically improved the script from what it was originally going to be.

From what I've heard, Jonathan Nolan worked on the script in the early stages, not really much after that. McG might have been touting his name to get some kind of credit by having one of the co-writers of The Dark Knight working on his movie.

Movie was alright. John Connor was cardboard, nothing interesting about him.

Well at the begining of the film when he's shouting into the walkie-talkie was funny. The original script is meant to be better than the finished film.

Salvation is an okay movie. Btw, I really like Bale's acting. The "we are dead, we are all dead!" line is awesome.
