Favorite Death Scene (Spoiler Alert)

It's not only about the moment they die. It also includes the scene that the death would occur in it. Overall 15 males deaths and 6 females deaths. (I guess Nolan is not that much of lady killer as they say after all)
I only considered the important roles and the deaths which would happen in front of the camera (Except one). And not the ones which occur in dreams. (Except one which was a very good scene)

If Katie Holmes would have tried to pull of that death scene it would not have been my favorite.

Interesting. Here are my top five, the first of which I voted for;

1.) Dent's Death (The Dark Knight)
2.) Teddy's Death (Memento)
3.) Mal's Death (Inception)
4.) Rachel's Death (The Dark Knight)
5.) Bruce's Parent's Death (Batman Begins)

Definitely Mal's death. I can never watch without feeling things.
Then i have to give a shout out to Bruce's parents death, because it was so callous, therefore perfectly depicting how something like that could not not phase a child for life.
And of course, another Rachel's death was crucial to the story.

I love that each death has some sort of purpose. Chris Nolan doesn't waste kill for fun, but rather for the greater good (of the story).

By far Rachel's death. Considering the interrogation scene then building to Batman racing to save one of them intercut with the gorgeous piano melody with them trying and failing to cheer the other up in a time one of them is going to die is amongst my favorite moments in any film, ever, it's the easy choice. The Joker vs Batman scene sums up the entire film, then it becomes so fucking intense, tender, then devastating.

Filmmaking brilliance.

Mal's death.
Julia's death.
