It is a 7.5 at best. When I say 6.5 that score is mostly from the great production. I think Inception is a metaphor for itself, and it planted the thought in your head that its a wonderful complex movie and there for that makes it brilliant and great.

I'm updating my list from recently re watching a few Nolan flicks... here it is

1) The Prestige A

2) The Dark Knight A

3) Memento A

(The top 3 are all Incredibly hard to choose and will probably constantly change/ shift for a long time.)

4) Batman Begins B

5) Insomnia B

6) Following B-

7) Inception B- (I'm prepared for the angry, rabid mob)

The Dark Knight Rises will be in the top 3. It will be very hard to put a list in order after that has come out.

Yeaah. Well with Inception, I feel I'm being a bit generous. But, because the movie is "technically" impressive with good production, as well as having a good central concept (no matter how much I don't like its execution) Ill give it a b-. I'm not entirely comfortable with it either.
