Well I think it's quite a short film as well (only 70 mins) even though it was orignally gonna be 90 mins. He couldn't film some scenes as his parents house was burgled during the making of the film.

That was only going to be for a few inserts. Would have added maybe 15 extra seconds to the film.

1. The Prestige
2. The Dark Knight
3. Memento
4. Batman Begins
5. Insomnia
6. Following

It is tough to choose though because I love all of his equally. He's too good!

I love The Dark Knight and Memento equally, but the way Memento is shot backwards, it gets bonus points.

:D

Awesome. Glad to see someone else's favorite is The Prestige :)

I would actually list mine exactly like yours... although for me, Memento and The Dark Knight switch back and forth depending on how I feel.

Same with me. Second would be The Prestige.

I can see that (though, I still think Memento is better). There are actually people who love the fact that this movie was made with so little budget. Following was made as an independed movie. From Memento to Inception, there was always someone else above Nolan, some one who controlled the money. I'm not saying that Nolan has no control over the movies he makes (because I just know he has), but there is always someone he must answer too. Someone at Warners.
Following was made, exactly how Nolan wanted it to be. Every small detail is Nolan.
