Who is the greatest? TDK is Nolan's best film. So If not him then, his competition is James Gunn and Zack Snyder. People love the MCU, DC's The Suicide Squad, and the Snyder cut has been unbelievable! And Bryan Singer his X-Men films and Superman film are extraordinary.

And honorable mentions Sam Raimi! For his Spiderman trilogy and the Russo brothers for the Captain America and Avenger's films!
