We're excited that one of the greatest filmmakers of this young century is coming to the Film Society of Lincoln Center later this month. We hope you are too!

Award-winning director, writer and producer Christopher Nolan will be in the Walter Reade Theater for a special one night only Film Comment Selects conversation conducted by our own Scott Foundas. Set for Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00pm, the event will include film clips along with an extended discussion about Nolan's career.

"It's a great pleasure to welcome Christopher Nolan to the Film Society for this special conversation, following our recent retrospective devoted to his brilliant body of work," Foundas said in a statement today. "Far more than mere 'comic book' movies, his Dark Knight films are thrilling and sophisticated entertainments that have reinvented an immortal pop-culture icon for our own troubled times, touching on everything from global terrorism to class inequality and the financial crisis, supported by a richly human drama of one man’s struggle against his own inner demons."

The discussion will focus on the making of Nolan's acclaimed Dark Knight films—The Dark Knight Rises (2012), The Dark Knight (2008) and Batman Begins (2005)—but will also explore other facets of his illustrious body of work. Nolan burst onto the scene with his standout British indie Following in 1998 and followed it up with his 2000 hit Memento. In addition to his Dark Knight Trilogy, he also made Insomnia (2002), The Prestige (2006) and Inception (2010) in the past dozen years. Quite a commanding burst of filmmaking for a director still in his early 40s.

So, we're curious. If you were on stage leading the discussion, what would you ask Nolan?

Offer your questions in the comments field below and perhaps Scott will be inspired to share your inquiry with Nolan.
