Yep my PMs tend to be quite shitty but as long as it appears in your outbox/sent folder I should be getting them. I just had a look and I did get your PMs this time

BTW guys, for the record 1-2-3 sentences are ok too, it's all better than nothing. If I get too many I'll put the shorter messages in one page together and if I don't get enough I'll spread them all out, but basically, anything short is better than nothing too. It's another contribution/name/message to make it all bigger and more impressive. Fighting for the cause

dmcn, that's more than ok. Would be highly appreciated. I'd be happy if everyone spread the word around and shared it on social networking sites etc. As long as everything gets to me on time

Okay, so about sending screenplays and short stories. . .

I am currently in the process of writing something (several things in fact but I'm focusing on the one project) but it is a novel so should I just send an excerpt? Or even try changing it to a script format?

If the former, should I send it as a word file? If the latter, would a celtx file be okay?

Well, how fast can you do it? Cos you only got 5 days...

But basically I'd say send what you have. And if you have very little, then maybe just a synopsis instead. It all depends how much you got. If your story has a beginning, middle and end - even if it's just one chapter out of something that will be bigger, then you can send that. If you have something very small and unfinished (like just a few pages of a chapter) then I reckon a synopsis instead.

Whether to have the story as a novel or a script, it's up to you. But I'm not sure if I can open a Celtx file since I have Final Draft 8 on my comp and no other script editing programs. As far as I know though in all script editing programs you can export your file into PDF or Word. Either would be best.
