Hey so I was revisiting the director's roundtable from THR last award's season and I think it was Bennett Miller (or the guy next to him) who made the comment that artists are deviants and everyone agreed and laughs. They cut to a shot of Nolan doing his small little British chuckle in agreement and it had me thinking - Here is a guy who originally had Scarecrow's mask in Batman Begins modeled after Ed Gein's skin mask and the studio thought it was so frightening that it couldn't be in a PG-13 film.
This guy is definitely a deviant hiding behind a head of nice hair, nice suits, and sly laughs.
