I don't regret spending as much time as I do on here. I prefer a community like this to half the ones on the rest of the Internet nowadays. It's just crazy to think I've nearly been here for 8 years.
My favorite controversy was when that 14 year old plagiarized his Shame review.

So there was some 14 year old kid who's screen name was thenextnolan or something like that. One time he unironically put a Transformers movie in his top 10 of the year. This isn't relevant to the story but I needed to say this because it's hilarious.
Anyway, he got a little gig writing for a review site. When he posted his review for Shame, someone noticed that he took the review from somewhere else. Also, he didn't see Shame. Shame was either rated R or NC-17 I think so there was no way he could see it unless he saw a shitty cam rip.
After that he left the site forever.
I realized I was friends with him on Facebook. I looked through his page and he's one of those edgy dudebros now. On the day of the women's March he shared a post that said something like "oh look at all the women I swiped right on on Tinder" and other bullshit. And for the longest time his profile picture was of Jared Leto's Joker.
