Let’s see, NolanFans, at the end of the year 2018, what are you grateful for? No time to be cynical here, leave that hypothetical void aside and think about the best of 2018, be it in your real life or here on the forums doesn’t matter, all the while marching bravely into 2019. Are there any expectations waiting for you there, private or movie related?
I'm grateful for all the deep film discussion that was had on the forum by the likes of Armand, Vader and others. Because it's generally way above my intellectual pay grade, so I don't feel any pressure to contribute and I feel more justified in posting memes and being an all-around asshole.

I’m grateful for my wonderful family.
I’m grateful for my job but also my newly found passion in theater.
I’m grateful for my drama troops, both in school and private.
I’m grateful for my girlfriend, she brings everything full circle.
And last but not least, I’m grateful for this site and people on it, we’ve been through A LOT and we’re still here, that’s a remarkable feat on itself. Let’s try and be better in 2019: post better (when we can and the time allows) and enjoy the movies.
