A film actually deserving of being weighed against other classics.
True masterpiece. Gladiator modernized the sword and sandals and appealed to the masses (myself included), but KoH:DC elevated a solid historic epic into one for the ages. 🕷
back when i was uber depressed this scene helped ease my dread for a moment so it gets eternal props from me

Seems like it's usually films that receive middling or little praise at release and then only like 20 years later do people really understand it's scope.

those are mostly exceptions that prove the rule. there's not many "for sure future classics" but Fury Road is certainly one of them.
