All I'm saying is you, all of us who decided to stay here and continue posting, are part of the problem. We created allstar by defending him constantly. Mods created allstar because they're endlessly debating bans. If it were any other board he'd be done in 2012. Same goes for anyone who got as much as three warnings over the year, let alone more, myself included. The system is mild, the 'fam' is disfunctional and enables it and a lot of good people over the years fled the country, and for the better. Nothing positive will come out of this constant cycle of you did-he did... Well how about each of us looks at himself/herself first? Personally, I feel like I have nothing more of value to give, because nobody will appreciate it and it's a time wasted, for sure. There's no discussion, just another quiet time before somebody breaks out of the shell and starts saying something wildly different from the collective. It's been ten years, I guess that's normal, life expectancy and all. Tenet will help.

- tolerating outright hateful speech or trolling for too long and then banning someone for something mundane (there's a huge inconsistency in how moding is handled around here. People can really abuse these "jokes" and there's not even a warning, and then a person can write some opinion that the mods don't like and get banned or immediately warned. I know this forum is left leaning, as am I, but sometime someone says something unpopular around here and it immediately gets misinterpreted as baiting without any discussion. Such policing is creating a bubble and not a discourse forum.)
Can you elaborate more? As a mod, although I'm not sure how long I'll last even, this is by far what pisses me off the most when it comes to modding on here.

When I became a mod for the second time, we all had this idea that we'd finally implement a system of sorts that would help us work more efficiently and in rhythm with each other. That did not happen. What DID happen, however, is a split between several mods that continues to echoe everytime something new (like this) arises, and it gets deeper. We're barely in agreement of how to handle things, which likely became more obvious yesterday. Suddenly, we judge people on whether they're better or worse than Skyab. Did he set a new standart of character judgement on here? If so, no wonder we're fucked. Unironically, I tried my best to be as little biased as possible, others can decide if that backfired or not.

If anyone needs my honest 2 cents, I think most mods are just not fit to be mods, very likely me included lol.

You know, we mods could discuss this further in the admin section... Like we did for a moment but we should talk about it more imo. There are some valid points to be discussed.

So, why does this forum not have the option for users to delete their accounts?

Opps I can't challenge the fella in any intelligent manner, so I'm going to drop some snarky comments to feel better about myself.

But hey Allstar is the big problem of this forum. We are not doing this constantly to each other at all.
