I agree that the tag lines have to mean more than what they seem. My thoughts are more along the lines of "Time", being an enemy/character that is coming after our "protagonist.

I just think protagonist is such a weird word. I was wondering if it was an anagram, but all I can come up with that would even remotely work is "patriot song" and that can't be it.
