Why do people only listen to holiday music around the holidays? If the music is actually good should we not feel compelled to listen to it all year round? Have we been so strongly conditioned to associate it with the holidays that we don't even think to do otherwise?
Yeah, most feel it's inappropriate for other times of the year. It may also ruin the Christmas sentiment that they value so.
This is me:
Pretty much my reasoning for a lot of Christmas songs except for Nightwish's cover of Walking in the Air and Blink-182's I Won't Be Home For Christmas.
