"We only can hope the New World will remember and save the Old one" or something to that effect was the very last sentence said in the movie. And it just immidiately invalidated the struggle and sacrifice of both the British and the French depicted in it. Not to mention oh I don't know the Eastern front, anyone? Even if we ignore that tiny USSR country contribution (let's not debate this please), couldn't we have this movie about British soldiers not sucking american's collective dick out of the blue?
