Mods are only hated if they do a poor job. Nobody has ill feelings towards George, nor much hate towards Red-Ninja. People used to love Chee, but she adopted a "I don't give a shit what anyone thinks of me" attitude, which is off-putting for most people since it's essentially a proclamation of how little she cares about the people on this site. People have hated Cilogy since before he was even a Mod because he made it painfully obvious that he wanted to be a Mod. I gave Solo a tough time at first, but aside from my few jabs in the beginning he was never exposed to much hate.

Actually, C8, of all people, you're probably the most likely to harass Cilogy. It's unlikely that is an unbiased statement.

People like Thresald, durden and jibran should be ideal for Mod.

I really don't have a clue why people would hate you here. You've already proved that you're willing to put a lot of effort into forum-related projects (the book) for which you have received and organized letters from members all over the forums. If that isn't a sign of ability to be a great mod, I don't know what is lol!

Other than Liron, I also think BlairCo and Z. Cobb would make great mods. If I can think of anyone else I'll let you know.

Aww thanks Liron. Don't know if I'd like to be a mod though...I avoid spoilers quite a bit and there are times when I barely come onto the site. We need someone who's very regular.
