The TDKR UK premiere was set on July 18 as you all probably know. We had no idea when the press junket was going to be, or anything around it, except for the actual premiere date and location.
So, I spent the 17th at the hotel were the press junket was going to be. Eventually, I saw Morgan Freeman. He pretty much ignored everyone and wanted to be left alone. Randomly I then bumped into Noomi Rapace. After 3 people told me that day that I looked like her. Of course, I disagree since she's skinny and gorgeous, but I was happy with that. I had two pictures with her as they both came out blurry. She was drunk lol but she still appreciated it when I told her I thought she was incredible in Prometheus and she put her head on my head which was a bit odd, but I wasn't complaining.
The next day was premiere day. I didn't go to the premiere, I thought maybe I'll just go and look around but since I was told there were people waiting there since 9pm the night before, in tents and such (abut 30 of them!) I decided to give it a miss. Then I had also learnt that after the premiere there will be a special screening at the IMAX with some of the cast and crew, and later the afterparty at Freemasons Hall.
Early we saw Joseph Gordon Levitt at the press junket hotel. He ignored everyone. Then Marion Cotillard who was lovely enough to have pictures with people and sign autographs to whoever wanted. I hate my pic with her but anyway, who can really pull off looking good next to Marion?! All I really said to her was that she's gorgeous... Couldn't find any more words lol
Later we saw Morgan Freeman again, he said hi quickly and left. Only then I learnt his left hand has been paralysed since the accident a few years ago. Had no idea!
Tom Hardy arrived. He came over, I had a pic with him, which came out blurry. And so we stood for another one. My friend took like, 5.. all blurry. He went to sign autographs to some people, came back to me and I showed him the blurry pics lol so we had another one, blurry again lol he rubbed my shoulder, looking really upset and said how sorry he was
I said 'it's ok haha it's not your fault'. Second blurry attempt...
Then a familiar-looking guy appeared with a beautiful woman next to him, I looked, unsure if it was Jonathan or not
no one around recognized him. So as he walked next to me I said quietly 'Jonathan?...' he stopped and smiled. I explained I wasn't sure it was him lol. I told him I was from Israel, and that's I'm a big fan of his work. How much I love Memento. And how I was in touch with the satellite TV providers in Israel which eventually brought Person of Interest, and he said he heard they were showing it there, I said I remember he was interviewed for an Israeli newspaper about it. He was really happy-looking and rather grateful I have to admit. We had a picture. Then some people asked him for autographs and later asked me who he was 
I saw Joseph Gordon Levitt and Anne Hathaway then too, but unfortunately didn't get much near them. JGL pretty much ignored everyone again. Chris wasn't there at all that day, nor Bale. Bale did everything (press) seperate to the rest of the cast. Also caught a glimpse of Hardy leaving for the premiere, in his OWN car! A beautiful matte-black Audi. Dude is too down to earth to use a driver, like everyone else, I guess. You have no idea how rare this is. I personally never saw an actor take his own car to a premiere. Before he left apparently someone from the hotel took him to have a look at something on the car, I think it was some small dent which they thought happened there. He inspected it for a while. lol
I went straight from the hotel to the afterparty, giving up on the premiere and IMAX screening in advance. I don't like it when there are thousands of fans screaming in their faces lol
The party was at this gorgeous Freemasons Hall. Which celebrated its 79 years old birthday the next day lol (was opened on July 19 1933).
At the party the main cast and crew were completely seperated from everyone else. Anne Hathaway approached people briefly just to sign some autographs. I dropped something on the floor when she was by and she looked at me and asked if I was ok, telling others to stop asking her for autographs for a second
. Chris ran away quickly from everyone there. Emma did pose for a pic for me quickly, she seemed shocked someone recognized her I told her she looks really beautiful (she really does) and she was giggling embarrassingly a lot at that lolJonathan and his missus were there too and so I said 'nice to see you again' and they laughed and Jonathan said 'you too'. Then I kinda left the area with that cast and crew cos it was getting manic.
By the entrance to the party they had this lovely lil thing btw.
They were giving away icecream at the party, and this awful energy drink (No Fear) which has a TDKR logo on it and some Bat-wing to use when opening/closing it lol I saved the can ha [/geek]
Through the crowds I noticed Aiden Gillen. But no one next to me could take a pic and he was rushing, so one of his two kids ended up taking it. But since he was so rushing he looked away so it sucks.. But I did tell him his character Littlefinger is my fave in Game of Thrones (which is true) and he said he enjoys playing terrible people. lol
Right after him I saw Hans Zimmer. I got so excited for a second that I just missed him.. bleh. Noomi Rapace also turned up at the party, looking absolutely gorgeous in a suit, I told her I love the look and she was really happy with that. I had another, this time nonblurry pic with her, but waiting for my friend to send it over. She told me she saw the film at the IMAX screening (not the premiere before it) and that she absolutely loved it.
I saw Chris again leaving the place, but he ran away again. Bale never came to the party, turns out he left the country right after the premiere.
The next day they finally had the press junket! Usually press junkets come before or on the same day of the premiere, this time it was the day after.
When Morgan Freeman was there, not many arrived yet. And so he was happy enough to talk to us briefly and I had a picture with him, which is apparently a very rare thing to get lol he doesn't sign autographs at all anymore apparently, cos he's lefthanded.... He did show his paralysed hand to someone who asked him for an autograph, and giggled a little lol a friend of mine took the picture on his cam and so I'm waiting for him to send it over.
Anne was happy to sign to people too, but unfortunately I couldn't get a pic with her since she was rushing. JGL ignored everyone again, Marion was signing and having pictures again but I didn't want to bother her, she looked tired. Hardy was again signing autographs and having pictures. At first I stayed away, but then noticed he's just NOT leaving lol so I asked my friend to ask him if I can have a picture with him (since he was signing to people around him and I felt weird going over lol. Situation was funny). Hardy said he'll come over to me, but then went the other way to sign there, so I thought he forgot
oh well. But then 5 minutes later he walks back, straight to me. I said I met him yesterday and he said 'I remember, the picture kept coming out blurry' he laughed and I did too lol I told him this time my friend will take it on his camera ha. So yeah... Then I noticed the shirt, I told him I love it and he was impressed I had noticed, I told him how I've been waiting for this film for 4 years and he said 'you won't be disappointed'.
I saw Chris again and since it was clear he wasn't in the mood again I started panicking about giving him the letters. Emma arrived seperate to him, much later on but I didn't want to bother her. So when Jonathan's missus saw me and came over I asked her where Jonathan was and she brought him over to me, I told him about NF and the letters I received and asked if he could give them to Chris. He apologized and said they barely see each other during PR and so he doesn't want to be responsible for it. He was really apologetic and nice about it so I thanked him anyway and said my goodbye. Unfortunately my fears were correct, since later I saw Chris again but couldn't, again. I tried to reach Emma then but she left seperately again and I haven't really seen her. I even tried to give the letters to his driver, who was really really unfriendly and quite horrible. Bleh.
Anyway, that was it. To sum it up, despite not meeting Chris, these few days were a lot of fun. Hardy and Jonah really made it all that much more special. But as I've been to a lot of these things before (Tinker Tailor and Inception, to name a few) I can say there was something odd about the atmosphere there. Bale's absence. Nolan's mood (well, it was very different to how he was during Inception, though, maybe not entirely since when we talked then he was going to ignore everyone at first and he only spoke to me since he learnt I was only there for him, he thought everyone just care about the cast. I suppose he could still be feeling this way though I never got a chance to proved it wrong this time).
