A fkn minister in the fkn government just proposed a new bill to make pre-marital sex illegal!!
Of course this bill will never pass.. but the fact this guy is a minister here is just ridiclous. Religion shouldn't be a part of the government they become stronger here everyday, this country is like.. going backwards.

wow. religion should have nothing to do with politics. in my country they are separate... but yeah, since you're from Israel I can see that happening.

I don't mean to be rude, you know me, but I hate that Israel still lives off the nazi regime and still act like they're all about peace and prosperity when their own history is shady and full of controversy and they are one of the most offensive countries in the world right now. Israel's politics are plain dumb most of the time and it's sad. Not to mention that from what I know... fanaticism there has become a major problem... I also hate the fact that Israel gets a pass each time she's responsible for something completely dumb and unnecessary because they are right behind the U.S.

Honestly I agree with every word you say. This country's policy is entirely too faced. It gets worse every day.. it's 'oh everyone hates us so we have to protect ourselves' one second and whining over history and the Holocaust, then committing crimes everyday. Yeah, some Palestinians do terror acts and kill innocent people, but the Israeli army kills much more innocent people every time they go 'look for the terrorists'.

Thing is, it is getting worse. Cos if a decade + ago most people here were left wing, believed in equal rights to all citizens and generally believed most Palestinians are just people like you and I, nowadays we have the most extreme right wing government ever, people are getting more religious and with that, more right wing.. They're gullible and believe every word the PM says (like last year we had massive demonstrations here for economical reasons, justified completely since this PM destroyed the economy, so he waited a bit then just went on and on about Iran being a threat and that we need to go to war, suddenly everyone supports him again since he's the right wing, "strong PM" and he will fkn get elected again). It gets worse by the day, I can't even explain it. Nowadays when there's an article about a car accident and an Israeli-Arab or a Palestinian gets killed, most feedback there would make anyone with a heart sick. The media, instead of being a watchdog, is generally so patriotic (by their own choice mostly, studied about it) that they rarely publish stories about what happens in Gaza and don't tell the Israelis about the innocent people killed there and so they live in a bubble, they have no clue what goes on there and they just see everything as black and white.. People here are so racist nowadays it's ridiculous. Even some of my family, who I was always proud of in the past. I can't talk to them now cos of it and it feels unstoppable since it's getting worse so quickly. The PM currently has about 60% of people's support! And there isn't really any left wing leader that seems likely to ever take his place.
And bytheway, the government here would prefer to argue with US and the rest of the world, day and night, than ever admitting they did wrong or trying to actually talk with the Palestinians.

Sorry for the rant but yeah, what you said is very true and very depressing. I can't wait to leave this place.

Tim Tebow has a thing about taking pictures. A few weeks ago we learned that he didn't want to take pictures with Sports Illustrated swimsuit models (even when they were fully dressed) because it might be bad for his image.

Over the weekend, Tebow's representatives asked a Broadway actress to take down a backstage picture of him with the cast of "Rock of Ages" taken after the show.

"Well, Due to Tebow's 'image' I was asked to remove the pic of him with us half dressed ladies. He does know we arn't real strippers right?" actress Neka Zang wrote in a since-deleted post.

This is a case where Tebow's reps did him more harm them good. No one would have possibly noticed or cared that Tebow posed with actresses in a family-friendly show that 12 year olds and grandmothers line up to see.

Now the picture is everywhere. And hopefully no one still cares so we can avoid writing these posts in the future.
