So many websites will die and be affected by this severely. With the economy the way it is, neutering the Internet in the United States of America is definitely not the right way to improve things globally.

It's such a major step backwards for technology I don't even understand how it was brought up as a suggestion in the first place. Was it just lobbied from ISP overlords?

Their argument is that it frees up the ISP's to "innovate".
