Apparently shots have been fired in multiple locations this morning.
OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) - Police in Ottawa say shots also were fired near a shopping mall close to Parliament.

Ottawa police Constable Marc Soucy said Wednesday there have been shots fired at three places in the Canadian capital: at the National War Memorial, where a soldier was wounded, on Parliament Hill and near the Rideau Centre Mall.

All three sites are within less than a mile from each other.

He said it started at the war memorial and that it is still unclear whether there is more than one shooter. No arrests have been made.

"Most of downtown Ottawa is in lockdown," Soucy said.

The shooting came two days after a recent convert to Islam killed one Canadian soldier and injured another in a hit-and-run before being gunned down by police.

In addition, SKY News reports "Police told the AFP news agency that possibly up to three shooters were feared to be on the roof of the building in the capital. It came after a soldier guarding a nearby war memorial was wounded after shots were fired."
The Associated Press and SKY News contributed to this article.

radical Muslim..surprise, surprise. And you'll see all of us Americans point this out, but what they'll fail to realize is that the radicalization of these lone-wolves and recruits, is in large part, a direct result of the United States' aggressive foreign policy towards Muslim countries. In this particular case, Canada, announced it was joining the United States and other nations in bombing the Muslim countries that have a perceived radical Islamist threat, and Canada will now suffer the blowback for their intervention.

Every. single. one. states that they go from a seemingly normal person to a radical person due to the perceived targeting of Muslims by these countries. Typically it has just been the United States that has to contend with the unintended consequences of bombing Muslims, now, other countries are going to share the brunt due to their involvement as well.
