James Holmes, the infamous alleged Colorado theater mass murderer, apparently tried to take another life--his own.
According to law enforcement officials, Holmes made several suicide attempts over the past few days while staying in prison. He is currently on trial for shooting 12 people and wounding 58 others during the showing of the Dark Knight in Aurora in July.
Sources called Holmes’ attempts “half-hearted” as he tried to take his life by running into a wall and jumping off his bed.
On Tuesday, he was sent to the hospital and his attorneys have asked for a Thursday hearing to be postponed.
