I'm talking of both, but I've read The Road and one other, the name escapes me at the moment. The Road was extremely flawed.

I see. Personally, I didn't think the movie of The Road carried the same weight the book did. While The Road isn't his best work, I still found it a wholly amazing book.

As great as it was, I will never forgive NCFOM for having one of the most dull, anti-climatic endings in history.

Funny, it's one of my favourite endings to a film ever. Sums up everything rather fittingly for me.
