Teen Titans was never subbed. It's an English cartoon using anime animation.

I prefer to read the mangas, they have less filler and are (although not always better), my favourites:

Death Note.
Genre: Supernatural, drama, thriller.
Serious and mature but at the same time has the fantastic magic of japanese storytelling.

Dragon Ball.
Genre: Fantasy, Martial Arts, Sci Fi.
It may look dated and clichéd right now but remember that Dragon ball was for manga what Star Wars was for Sci Fi and the Blockbuster, you can't run away from that. It's sad that, having been copied so much (because of its actual quality) now it looks bad.

Also: Revolutionary Girl Utena and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Opening theme of Fantaman (Phantomas, Phantoma, Golden Bat, Ogon Batto). This was my favorite as a kid in the early 70's. (guess that's why I became a Batman fan )
