For me, this is actually pretty easy.

Terminator hands down.

I personally would go with the Terminator, just by a small degree. I also think the first of each franchise is the best and most artistically impressive.

Both franchises went downhill after the second film. So to me, they are quite even. But there have been plenty of time spent playing games with Aliens, Predators and Marines. Not so much of Terminator..so that has always purely been a film franchise.

They are both so equal.
