And maybe that's why it did better? It had a smaller budget and got (much) better reviews. It would have been a flop if it had a huge budget and got terrible reviews. Just like all these big budget movies that got terrible reviews did.

Honestly, the schadenfreude going on here is so childish and mean spirited.
