The only thing remotely entertaining and enjoyable which is relatable to that particular franchise is the Disneyland ride.

Uhm yes it is. It's one of the most popular movies of all time because of multiple reasons but mainly one; It's entertaining. You claiming it isn't clearly is something incredibly controversial.
