Without a doubt, the inspiration by Keith was the biggest part of the physicality in Depp's performance..

ofc there is more into it..but it is simple compared to his other work. Fear and Loathing for instance.. now that is proper over the top. Just my opinion of course! 8-)

I can't believe Depp was not nominated for an Oscar before Pirates. Then again, nuff said about the "academy"

The way he walks in that movie is genius. Probably his best with Ed Wood
