Though he was originally planning to re-team with his Contagion and The Informant! screenwriter Scott Z. Burns on the television adaptation, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., word broke recently that director Steven Soderbergh had stepped away from that project. Today, The Hollywood Reporter has an update that another collaboration is underway nevertheless. Soderbergh and Burns have plans to develop a thriller entitled The Bitter Pill.
Details are few, but Pill is said to be set in the world of psychopharmacology (the study of how drugs affect the human mind).
Soderbergh's next, Haywire, hits on January 20, 2012, followed by his male stripper comedy, Magic Mike, on June 29th. After that, he's set for a telefilm, Behind the Candelabra, a biopic of Liberace that stars Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.

Tatum is a talentless hunk. May he fade into obscurity, soon.
