Cool setup though.

EDIT:

Didn't bother reading the articles until just then-

Woah, Rashida Jones is writing the film (with writing partner Will McCormack).

Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, and Lee Unkrich have thought up the original story. Which is a plus.

On the upside it's Lasseter, so this means it will very likely not suck.

As I mentioned, he hasn't directed anything worthwhile in 15 years. Cars and Cars 2 were his last 2 feature efforts. I don't know what he sees in those anthropomorphic vehicles besides the millions and millions and millions of dollars. He's working with a better franchise, that's for sure. And if he's working with a good story by A-team, then it looks even more positive. Okay, honestly there is a good chance this film will be largely enjoyable. Still, this film truly indicates that the Pixar age of milking isn't over.

John Lasseter will return to direct “Toy Story 4.” Disney will release the Pixar film in June 2017.
God, no please. The trilogy is closed and fantastic voyage. Don't ruin it : C

I enjoy the first 2 a lot but I really didn't care for the third and this is just too much. Not gonna bother.

Pixar is waay past their golden age, it seems.

Should've kept Toy Story as an Trilogy.
