I have a few questions...

1. Why is the theatrical cut looked down upon so much?
2. What is bad about Ford's narration?
3. I'm thinking of buying this film, which one should I get. The Director's Cut (1992) or The Final Cut (2007)?

1.) Because it dumbs down the films infinetely complex themes to plain stupid levels and misses most if not all of the point the film was trying to make as a story, character piece, and thematically. The ending is plain atrocious.

2.) Because of the above reason, and he's a horrible narrator. Really, really bad. It tries spoon feeding the audience the messages and plot points of the movie instead of showing them.

3.) Final Cut. It's the final cut of the film, is the most complete cut, and has by far the best quality transfer.
