Man, I'm too out of it to comment too deeply on it at the time being, but I will say it was a slightly monotonous relatively poorly paced sweeping film with a wonderful score and equally beautiful photography. I have a long list of problems with it, particularly that none of the characters are particularly likable throughout, and the entire film's narrative stems on coincidence and so forth, but oh well.
8.25-5ish probably, but a lot of the actual content in it is much higher, it's just bogged down by various things.
The Beaver- 9/10- Loved it. This movie shows you, you do not need much to make something great. Great performances all around but Mel Gibson was amazing in it. Oscar worthy performance, I was floored by Mel in this. Best performance of the year so far. Great script, this movie was funny and depressing at the same time, wonderful directing job by Foster.
Terry Gilliam's classic - Brazil. I'm gonna tell you the truth. It took me a while for me to sit down and watch this movie, but when I did finally watch the entire movie, I said to myself "SHIT! That's a good fucking movie"
