It's not something that's so rare. So his statement is obvious. It doesn't deny the fact that he made some subtle choices that are far from being part of the medium of naturalism.

Dude. Like I said, his naturalistic performance was raw... but he also made some choices that are completely theatrical. His transformation was subtle due to his incredible naturalistic work.
