Cracking film, thought I was gonna hate it, but I loved it.

i was disappointed. i mean, the movie was visual incredible. no complain. but the story was too weak. cameron isnt famous for telling great storys but i expected this time a difference. also he didnt really tell us much about the situation on earth. why we need pandora? what really happend on earth? why did we hire a company for this mission? some small details but no real information. tell us both sides and not one.

Agreed with Christopher Nolan (LMAO at that screen name!). The story could have been improved and more details could have been provided.
A question for those that saw it in 3D, did it give you a headache? It gave me a major one. Never again will I see a film in 3D.

I watched Beowolf in 3D with the same glasses, it also gave me a headache, thats why I watched Avatar in 2D as It was so bad before, I almost couldn't drive me and my mate home.
The 3D thing will flop unless they improve on it, I think the digital projectors is a step in the right direction mind.

The woman explained enough of Pandora's history and animals thank you very much

A lot of the dialogue was pretty bad.
"Were not in Kansas anymore!"
Then again, Cameron was never really good with dialogue. And all good movies have some sort of cheesy dialogue! Like in TDK, "Things are worse than ever!"

honestely, i expect more than two or three lines. if it would be a michael bay movie, i could live with that, but we are talking about james cameron. let us explore also the other site. that would have also kept quite the critics about the weak story. but it is a one way street and that's weak.

The biggest problem doing that though is that it would create sympothy for the humans. It was quite clear Cameron wanted the humans to be the bad guys in the film.
Similar to George A Romero with zombies and humans in his films, you are never fully told really how the outbreak started.
It also would have made the rest of the film (mainly the parts of the people of Pandora) rather pointless. I wouldn't have changed anything about the film except the part where for the first time Scully gets one of those Pandora birds, felt a little too cheesy but other than that, found it a very good hollywood blockbuster.

The 3D glasses have never bothered me or caused headaches. They actually reduce my headaches because it dims the image slightly, so the usually bright projected image does not assult my eyes.

I liked the film. It was visually amazing but I thought plot was predictable and cliched. Worth a watch.

I didn't get a headache while watching the 3D version. Loved the film, not the most original thing ever but the dialogue and characters were good.
