Hello again! No, 7th Sept is when us Brits get the film (thank goodness). They went without announcing a UK date for ages and I was a little worried it would pass us by, but thankfully, it's not!

Too cute.. Ever since Hardy said that he played this character as matriarch/patriarch type figure, I can definitely see it. Especially in this scene. I do see a hint of a motherly type inquisitive nature in his expression. But at the same time he's a bad ass:-) And where he just trails off at the end was comical... He always approaches his roles with such uniqueness and it's one of the things I like about him:-)

Awesome:-) Have they changed anything in it?

Speaking of ^ this clip;-)
Tom: It was hard for me [to play Forrest], because I like to speak a lot. I have a disco ball head. And I’m not like Forrest at all. So staying still was… It was quite a meditative pleasure to be able to play somebody who could take his time to have cognitive thought, a process, and then deliver an economic answer. It was a very self-indulgent option. Somebody would say something and I would sit and wait for an awkward time. There’s the three-hour version of this movie, which I would totally get. How long it would take for Forrest to answer - anything!
Guy Pearce: Your reaction to Jessica when she says ‘so, do I get the job?’ I still don’t even know what you do when you react, you just walk off and grunt. It’s a yes and it’s a no all at the same time. But then the fact that you see her working there, it’s quite a pay off.
Tom: It’s an acceptance whereby he knows that he’s beaten. She becomes the alpha male of the family, of the wolf pack. He just adopts secondary position in the office. Because she now runs the place. The hat moves over here, I want my hat back over here. And the love story begins. I could spend more time in that world. Again, there’s a lot for actors to do without speaking, which is fun to watch, for very serious people, but there’s humour, there’s love, there’s huge heart. Amongst everybody, there’s huge love. You couldn’t fit it in to an hour and a half. We’ve got three hours, four hours of shoot.
^ Bring me Papa Bear Forrest
And apparently there is an issue about Lawless in this magazine that I had never heard of ( Little White Lies). This little youtube presentation is quite cool, love the artwork:-)
