So I'm damn excited. Should be getting it mid May.

The guy doing it actually teaches ISF calibration, Kevin Miller. Getting it from Value Electronics, really excited about it.RomanM wrote:ISF Calibrated?Vader182 wrote:My home theater's making a HUGE step. Much to Crazy's annoyance Im' sure, assisted me in picking out some decent speakers, so I found a not terrible 5.1 system with a receiver for $250 used. All I can afford at the moment unfortunately.

I'm not really big on Home Theater setups. They're nice, but I wouldn't go out of my way to build one unless I had the money to burn, and I would need a lot because it would be excessive.
I just want the best possible experience watching films as I can.RomanM wrote:I'm not really big on Home Theater setups. They're nice, but I wouldn't go out of my way to build one unless I had the money to burn, and I would need a lot because it would be excessive.

Well that's what the IMAX theater is for.Vader182 wrote:I just want the best possible experience watching films as I can.RomanM wrote:I'm not really big on Home Theater setups. You obviously cannot see every movie in IMAX. That is why it is great to have a nice home theater because you can see every movie there.Well that's what the IMAX theater is for.
Exactly, haha. It's almost silly to not see the immeasurable benefits of having an option for a wonderful viewing experience from your homeallstarr55js wrote:You obviously cannot see every movie in IMAX. If the smiley wasn't indication enough that I was being cheeky, you guys both need to get out more lol.
Well you were just saying how you were not big into home theater setups no reason to think you were not being serious other then a stupid smiley.RomanM wrote:If the smiley wasn't indication enough that I was being cheeky, you guys both need to get out more lol.
Cheekiness is often just playfully saying what you really think, haha. I just took it as you saying home theater systems can't begin to measure up to going to the cinema, so you don't try very hard on them.RomanM wrote:If the smiley wasn't indication enough that I was being cheeky, you guys both need to get out more lol.
