A Christmas Carol (1984) and it's not even close. George C Scott does wonders in that film and the entire production gets across the spirit of Christmas so present in the source material.

The appartment and The shop around the corner are also two masterpieces. But It's a wonderful life will always be the best christmas movie.
Also Edward Scissorhands is probably my favourite Burton.

It's a Wonderful Life,
Christmas Vacation,
How the Grinch Stole Christmas,
Home Alone 1&2,
Scrooged,
The Nightmare Before Christmas,
Love Actually,
A Christmas Carol (2009)
Elf
Miracle on 34th Street
And then there are the films set around Christmas:
Die Hard 1&2 (2 is underrated!), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Edward Scissorhands, Prometheus, Trading Places, Lethal Weapon, Eyes Wide Shut, Gremlins, Krampus, Black Christmas (the original, obviously)

Do people who vote for A Christmas Story deserve rights?
Watched It's A Wonderful Life for the first time this christmas. Beautiful movie, but I doubt it'll be a tradition. It's not the same when you haven't grown up with them.
My longest running tradition is probably watching the Harry Potter series, even though they aren't really Christmas movies
