I'm looking forward to this. The trailer was great and so very touching.

This thread getting no traction is why I hate this site sometimes. Unless it’s Marvel, DC or Star Wars or some huge A list director like Fincher or Villeneuve people are simply not interested. Btw, this has a 87 on metacritic out of Sundance.

This will probably get some traction when Oscar season gets closer.

Tbh though, it's not surprising considering the fact that the director this site is dedicated to made super popular Batman movies.

This has a 90 on metacritic and is a top 3 reviewed movie this year so far.

Opens limited this weekend. It’s early but Awkwafina will probably become the first Asian American actress nominated for lead.

This was excellent. Fans of Kore-eda and Yi Yi (e.g. me) will love it. And at least 75% of the dialogue is in subtitled Mandarin. This movie is a blessing.

Excellent. Awkwafina Oscar nom worthy?

Saw this today, absolutely lovely and a perfect palette cleanser from Tarantino. Lulu's direction is subtle but exquisitely constructed. Awkwafina was a riot in Crazy Rich Asians but a true revelation here... while funny in this she gives grounded, subtle, beautiful and nuanced performance. Her characters understandable conflict broke my heart. Will be the first Asian American women to be nominated for lead actress for sure.

My sister decided to be stupid and got grounded so I can't see this until I get back from New York.

I hope enough old people and boomers see it so that it's still in theaters when I get back.
