Poor family is evil?
I mean, they do
kidnap and kill.

this tries to be a million different things and succeeds in each one

had to wait an hour in line for rush tickets but wellllllll worth it

i saw nothing about it beforehand besides knowing the director, obviously, and i think it’s the best thing i could’ve done

honestly i'm just obsessively checking the release dates every week or so hoping i'd see my country added to the list and having SOME sort of a limited release, but alas

it's such a shame because i feel like it's beyond stupid to wait another 6 months before i can *possibly* catch it in a local festival, but i really wanted to see it in theaters. I feel like this was the one that could've possibly topped Hollywood as my favorite 2019 film.

this is one of the definitive theater experiences of the year, a cinematic event that tempts, earns and revels in audience participation in its sheer ingenuity and bravado. its also constantly doing 20 things at once, in a constant state of metamorphosis, yet effortless and musical. yes, it is a masterpiece.

well earned bonus points for a having debt to high and low.
