Looks like a great line-up overall. Much to see. Quite interested in the new Polanski and a bit pleasantly surprised Joker is in competition too, same for Ad Astra.
So with lead actors it's a question of which category Sony will push Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood for him to get a shot at Best Actor with Ad Astra (even though that's a release for the second half of the year but still, people already talk about it)
Do you guys think the Academy will nominate Endgame and/or RDJ? They're going to push for it even though neither really deserves the award itself. But both will get massive fan backing, similar to how Joaquin is getting it.
With Joker getting the comic book movie hype, I don't see Endgame being nominated for anything else than technical awards. No way RDJ is getting nominated... I love him as Iron Man but there's no fucking way.
