Black Panther did get 4 noms, though. Not too bad, although Best Picture was never even close to being a reality. I am shocked that BlacKkKlansman managed to get only one nomination for Best Screenplay. Adam Driver was very close to snagging a Best Supporting nomination but the last vote eliminated him and Michael B Jordan for Black Panther.

What really surprised me was 6 nomination for The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and in some important categories, but it wasn't even close to getting a Best Picture nomination.

All in all, Netflix had a great year with NolanFans with that movie and Roma getting 9 nominations.

I just don't get why Ballad of Busters Scruggs got that cinematography nomination, there were quite some other DoPs which had delivered much finer work imo.

Like...no one even voted, dude? People adored Suspiria on here and it got snubbed in basically every category. Hard to kind of take it seriously.
